Our Proud History
We are Sharon and Tracey, we have been friends for more than 20 years and have been running The Little Coffee Pot since 2021.
For many years we worked together and began to discuss what our 'next chapter' might look like. The idea gradually formed that we would very much like to own and run a coffee shop.
As the discussions between us deepened, we realised that whilst great coffee, cakes and food were essential we strongly felt that our coffee shop would need to be inclusive. Everyone had to be welcome children and dogs of course, but we also needed to cater for those with special dietary needs such as gluten free, vegan & vegetarian. We also set ourselves a challenge of using local suppliers to help set ourselves apart from the large coffee purveyors.
Eventually the time came for us to make the 'leap of faith' that our future dreams needed. We looked at many locations, our ideals were one thing but we also needed a location which would support a thriving business.
Our premises on the Market Square in Olney were ideal. We found it a very unique place with its thriving market and independent shops, set against a backdrop of a town which retains its character of yesteryear.
We are pleased to say that our plans worked out ... and after a hectic start, today we find ourselves loving what we do and we have made many friends along the way, and the Coffee shop we dreamed of has a wealth of regular customers and has become a social hub for our customers.
